Rober: I was fascinated by  the post Jessica wrote about storytelling. Tell Us Something is an event that curates 10 minute long true stories told from memory by community members. The organizers choose a theme and anyone can participate by calling a telephone number to summarize their stories in a three minute pitch. Eight of these stories are selected to be told in person the day of the show at The Wilma. I was able to see first hand how interesting this show was when I downloaded the podcast and listened to a few of these awesome stories.

Jessica: Me encantó el post de Rober sobre las pozas. No hay nada que me guste más que las pozas naturales, y visitar este sitio me parece la actividad perfecta para un día al final del verano. ¡Las fotos de este post me encantan! También me interesa el post sobre las guitarras que llevaron Rober y su amigo Vicente a Cuba. Fue especialmente divertido porque también las llevaron a una fiesta a la que fuimos cuando estuvimos en Requena, y antes de marcharnos las firmamos.

Rober: One of the things I love about our blog is discovering new places and new things. Last May, Diana and I took a trip through several places we had heard of before and knew we wanted to visit someday, but had never been. Our “discover new places” post for Día a Day was the perfect excuse to go there. From the nice town of Sagunto, we headed towards Montanejos, but instead of driving straight there, we went off the beaten path and crossed the beautiful Sierra de Espadán to reach our destination.

Jessica: Como Rober, creo que es interesante cuando una actividad nos descubre un lugar nuevo o algo más sobre un evento al que no habríamos asistido si no fuera por el blog. Disfruté de mis conversaciones con los humoristas de Missoula. Había estado en varios eventos del grupo antes, pero el post me brindó la oportunidad de hablar con algunos de los líderes de la comunidad, ya que me interesa estar informada de los eventos que programan mensualmente.
